Training on Effective Construction Supervision for members of the Nigerian Institute of Highway and Transportation Engineers

Recently, the Essency team had the privilege of delivering a successful training course to members of the Nigerian Institute of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE) at the National Engineering Centre in Abuja, Nigeria. The course, Effective Construction & Maintenance Supervision, focused on empowering project teams with strategies to enhance delivery of road and bridge projects across Nigeria.

Our instructors were warmly welcomed by NIHTE members, who were outstanding hosts throughout the week-long course. This training now forms part of an ongoing programme designed to equip the engineering sector with the skills and competencies required for a sustainable future.

Scott Bloxsom of Essency shared: “Being able to come to countries like Nigeria and work with such an enthusiastic group is a fantastic opportunity to share our knowledge from years in the roads industry. Through this collaboration with NIHTE, we hope we can help in some small way to build capacity in the region.”

We’re excited to be part of this journey and look forward to more impactful engagements with the NIHTE!
